Indications

Estomacurol Pvo is a gastrointestinal mucosal protective antacid. It provides relief when there are symptoms of sour and belching caused by the ingestion of irritating foods, drinks, etc. It also provides effective protection of the gastrointestinal mucosa.

Dosage and administration

The drug is taken orally. Use as directed by a doctor.

Adults: Dilute 3.5 g in a little water. Take after each meal, max. 6 doses in 24 hours.

Contraindications

Do not use Estomacurol Pvo if you have any of the following conditions:

  • allergy to acetylsalicylic acid.
  • recent chickenpox.
  • serious kidney diseases,
  • urinary tract stones,
  • use of blood thinners.
  • diabetic patients.
  • pregnancy or breastfeeding.
  • age under 6 years.

Side effects

This medicine can cause constipation and diarrhea (when taken in large doses), it can also temporarily darken urine and bowel movements.

Overdose

In case of very high overdose, encephalopathy may occur and nephritis, jaundice and mercurial damage may occur in the intestinal mucosa and renal tubules. It is necessary to induce vomiting.

Interaction

  • Anticoagulants: coagulation is delayed;
  • Hypoglycemic agents: a decrease in glucose levels is observed;
  • Uricosuric agents: uric acid excretion increases.
