Iliadin Aqua is a saline solution spray that clears a blocked nose caused by the common cold, sinusitis, allergic rhinitis and hayfever. The spray consists of sodium chloride and glycerol. Besides cleaning the nose, the medication also moisturizes the inside of the nose and restores nasal mucosa. You can use this spray every day to maintain good nasal hygiene. It is perfect for the entire family, even for newborn babies.

Iliadin Aqua is no longer available but we have plenty of other drugs used to treat a stuffy nose.

Indications

Iliadin Aqua is recommended in daily nasal hygiene. It keeps the nose healthy by quickly relieving dryness and nasal irritation caused by the common cold, allergies, environmental pollution, smoke and cold, dry air, as well as the use of nasal decongestants.
The microfine atomization of this spray ensures optimum diffusion to reach the natural physiological solution evenly to the nasal mucosa.

Dosage and administration

The drug is designed for daily use in children and adults. It can be used in conjunction with medications for the treatment of allergies, sinusitis and common cold.

Dose and how to use: 2 sprays in each nostril, as frequently as necessary. With your head upright, perform frequent washings with 3 or more applications in each nostril and remove the excess with a tissue or tissue. Repeat as many times as necessary.

Contraindications

There are no absolute contraindications for Iliadin Aqua. However, there are some precautions:

  • Do not use this spray for more than 7 days unless told to do so by your health care provider;
  • Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breast-feeding. You will need to discuss the benefits and risks of using this spray.

Side effects

In rare cases, the product can cause side effects that are usually mild/moderate and temporary:

  • upset stomach;
  • stomach cramps;
  • gas;
  • diarrhea
  • burning.
  • rectal irritation.

Overdose

No cases reported. If you have any disturbing symptoms after using excessive doses of sodium chloride + glycerol, consult your doctor.
