Panoto-S is a blend of herbs and natural ingredients. These elements are balanced to ensure respiratory health. The formula consists of honey (which is non-toxic and has powerful anti-bacterial properties), Hedera Helix (helps to support a healthy respiratory help), cranberry and paper flower extract. Indications

This drug is used for symptomatic treatment:

• acute and chronic inflammatory diseases of the bronchi, trachea;
• acute inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract, accompanied by cough.

Dosage and administration

The drug is used orally, regardless of the meal.

Recommended dosages are:

• children aged 2 to 6 years – 2.5 ml three times a day;
• children aged 6 to 10 years – 5 ml three times a day;
• сhildren aged 10 years and adults – 5-7.5 ml, three times a day.

The drug can be diluted with water, sweet tea or fruit juice before use.

The duration of treatment is from 7 to 10 days. Shake well before use.

Increasing the dosage will not improve the therapeutic effect, however, it can cause unwanted side effects, so the recommended dosage should not be exceeded.

The faster you start taking the drug at the first symptoms of the disease, the better the result will be.

Diseases of the liver or kidneys are not subject to adjust the dosage, frequency or duration of treatment.

Contraindications

The drug is contraindicated in cases when the patient has an expressed hypersensitivity (allergy) to the main component or one of the excipients, hereditary fructose/maltose intolerance. Use in alcoholism is contraindicated. In pediatrics, it is permissible to use this drug in children over 2 years old.

Side effects

The drug is well tolerated if used in recommended doses. An allergy may occur in case of individual intolerance. In particular, the following side effects can be observed:

• allergic reactions: itching, allergic urticaria, rash;
• shortness of breath, angioedema, Quincke’s edema;
• nausea, vomiting, diarrhea.

If side effects occur, discontinue treatment and consult your doctor for help. He will change the treatment process.

Overdose

In case of an overdose, a patient may experience:

• nausea;
• abdominal pain;
• vomiting, diarrhea;
• nervous agitation.

In this case, symptomatic treatment should be carried out – get a lavage, take enterosorbents.

Interaction

Simultaneous use with antitussive drugs, for example with codeine or dextromethorphan, is not recommended without consulting a doctor.
