Why is Venalot Depot not used in the USA?

Venalot Depot is not used in the USA likely because Coumarin (not to be confused with the anticoagulant Coumadin) has not been approved by the FDA for medical use due to potential safety concerns. The USA has strict regulations and approval processes for medications, which can limit the availability of certain drugs that are otherwise used internationally.
