Fabroven contains Hesperidin, Ruscus aculeatus, Vitamin C. It is prescribed for strengthening the structure of teeth, bones, and the capillary walls. If you prescribed it for intravaginal application, it decreases the vaginal pH, suppressing the growth of bacteria. It also helps to restore and maintain normal pH and vaginal flora (Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus gasseri).

Indications

Fabroven is used to treat chronic, functional and organic manifestations of the lower limbs (feeling of heavy legs, peripheral edema, pain, night cramps, etc.). It is used in the treatment of metrorrhagia secondary to the use of oral contraceptives based on progestogen microdoses and those associated with the use of intrauterine devices; as well as after clinical examinations for the treatment of hemorrhoidal functional symptoms.

Dosage and administration

For oral use. Treatment of veno-lymphatic insufficiency and metrorrhagia: 2-3 capsules per day. Treatment of acute hemorrhoidal symptoms: 4-6 capsules per day. The capsules should be taken with water. Fabroven can be administered in prolonged treatments.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to any of its components.

Side effects

Nausea and epigastric pain have been reported in 1 to 2% of cases. In these cases, it is advisable to administer the capsules with food. Digestive problems may include diarrhea, sometimes severe (associated with risk of weight loss and electrolyte disorders). It is quickly reversible with the suspension of treatment. In rare cases, the product caused microscopic colitis, mainly lymphocytic. It can be diagnosed when performing a biopsy (colonoscopy).

Overdose

No cases of poisoning with Fabroven capsules have been reported.
