Tesalon Ninos is a combination of oxeladine and ambroxol: Oxeladine is a peripheral-acting cough sedative, which works by blocking receptors in the mucosa of the respiratory tract. Ambroxol has a mucolytic action. It can facilitate the elimination of tenacious secretions, has a high affinity for lung tissue, increases the synthesis of surfactant and also activates the ciliary functions, stimulating the transport of secretions. It is indicated in the respiratory processes that occur with increased bronchial secretions, such as acute bronchitis, chronic bronchitis, asthma. It can also treat sinusitis.
